You check in at the classic Grand Hotel in the heart of J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping. Take the opportunity to discover the city where the safety match was once invented, stroll along the cozy promenades or enjoy an evening walk on the shores of Lake V\u00e4ttern before dinner at the hotel.<br\/>If you have rented bicycles via Swike, they will be delivered directly to the hotel &#8211; ready for your upcoming adventure.  <\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Day 2 &#8211; Towards the forests of John Bauer<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first day of cycling is a little calmer so that you can land in the adventure. You cycle through the dramatic East V\u00e4ttern Scarp Landscape and on into John Bauer&#8217;s fabulous forests. Those who wish can choose a longer route, but we recommend a soft start to get to know the bike and nature.<br\/>The destination is picturesque Bunn and Bauerg\u00e5rden, where you stay for two nights. Breakfast, packed lunch and dinner are included &#8211; as well as bike storage, sauna and bathing jetty.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: about 50 km<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Day 3 &#8211; Apple valleys and gravel roads<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today you choose between two routes, about 65 or 90 km, both inspired by <em>Grenna Gravel<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shorter route:<\/strong> a fast-rolling tour over Sm\u00e5land country roads and dirt roads, with many lakes and bathing spots along the way.<br\/>In the evening, dinner and relaxation await at Bauerg\u00e5rden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 65 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Longer route:<\/strong> via \u00c4ppledalen and its vineyards and orchards, with a chance to stop for coffee in farm shops. You pass Gr\u00e4nna and make your way up the famous 20% hill before returning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 90 km<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Day 4 &#8211; Kingdom of the Forests<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After breakfast, you leave your luggage with us and cycle on with a light pack. Today&#8217;s tour, about 75 km and 900 meters of altitude, offers 75% gravel road through forests and open landscapes. Once at Hotel Ullinge, dinner, sauna and an evening dip in the lake await.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 75 km<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Day 5 &#8211; Skuruhatt and the charm of the wooden town <\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shorter route:<\/strong> about 80% gravel road, passing lakes and small villages in the countryside. Eksj\u00f6 can also be added here as a short detour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 65 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Longer route:<\/strong> Here is the opportunity to make a detour to the spectacular gorge and viewpoint. You can also stop in the wooden town of Eksj\u00f6 for a coffee break. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 90 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The evening ends at Ullinge with dinner and a good rest.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Day 6 &#8211; Up on the roof of Sm\u00e5land<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today&#8217;s 75 km leads you through deep forests and over southern Sweden&#8217;s highest point, Tomtabacken (377 m above sea level), where you can climb the viewing tower. You check in at Best Western Hotel Vrigstad, take an <em>after bike<\/em> in the relaxation room and round off with dinner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 75 km<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Day 7 &#8211; The roads of the championships<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Vrigstad you can choose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shorter route:<\/strong> Winding, almost car-free gravel roads that offer a real cycling experience in Sm\u00e5land&#8217;s hinterland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 95 km<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tough challenge:<\/strong> Parts of the course from the Swedish Gravel Championships 2025. Here you are challenged to push the last out of your legs before the last day&#8217;s bike ride back to J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Distance: About 135 km<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Day 8 &#8211; Last journey through the forest<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last stage! We transport the luggage back while you cycle towards J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping. The adventure ends with a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
